Q. Do we have to be located in Colorado to use your services?
A. No. We have the systems in place to handle your Bookkeeping and Payroll services from anywhere in the continental United States.
Q. How does the service work?
A. For starters, your business will be assigned your own personal Bookkeeping Manager. This person will conduct an extensive interview with you to get to know your business and your unique bookkeeping requirements. Your Bookkeeping Manager becomes a trusted advisor who thoroughly understands your business and its accounting needs.
Next, you send us your "source documents" - the statements, bills, and receipts that we will need to update your accounting on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. You can send us these documents by mail or email.
Then your Bookkeeping Manager handles the regular updating of your books with all transactions, deposits and checks, and payables and receivables.
At month's-end, we create financial reports for you that give you an accurate picture of your businesses' finances. These reports can be customized to suit your needs. Return to top
Q. How do I get started?
A. First call us at (303)358-6856, or email sales@keabco.com, and we will discuss your individual requirements. Once we have custom tailored a package for you, there are a few easy steps to get you up and running.
- We will send you an agreement that outlines the services Keabco will be conducting for your company. This will need to be filled out, signed and returned at your convenience.
- Complete our simple questionnaire so we accurately set up your account.
Send us your QuickBooks file and any Source documents that you have.
- Once these documents have been received, your Bookkeeping Manager will contact you to schedule the interview and begin immediately on your bookkeeping.
- You are up and running.
Q. What if I am behind on my books?
A. That is the reason most people need our services. It is tough enough running a demanding business let alone staying on top of your Bookkeeping and Payroll. All you need to do is send us your QuickBooks and Source documents for the missing months and your Bookkeeping Manager will handle everything from there. Return to top
Q. Shouldn’t I just hire an in-house bookkeeper?
A. That is one way to go. Please take in to consideration the time in finding the right person, training that person, payroll tax expenses, vacation and sick time, benefits, office space, technology, etc. Keabco Bookkeeping can offer these services for a fraction of the cost involved with hiring your own employee, even if that employee is part time.
Q. What are the costs?
A. Our services are custom tailored for each individual client. But rest assured that the cost will be far less than doing the bookkeeping and payroll yourself or having an in-house person.
Q. Is it secure?
A. Keabco Bookkeeping uses state-of-the-art back up processes. In most cases it is more secure than having the books in-house. Return to top
Q. How do we start the payroll process?
A. We will custom tailor your payroll package for you. Typically all we need is payroll history for this year and your company and employee information.
Q. Can I change payroll providers in the middle of the year?
A. You can switch at any time as long as you have the payroll history.
Q. How does the payroll information get entered into my QuickBooks® software?
A. You will be given a copy of the QuickBooks file at the end of each week that you can load into your system.
Q. What about W-2s?
A. At the end of each year, we create W-2’s for you and your employees. We will also take care of filing them with the SSA (Social Security Administration).
Q. How do we get copies of an old paystub when an employee requests it?
A. We maintain a copy of all your employee payroll records for you. You will have quick access whenever you need it. Return to top |
